James Beall (Jim)
is a board-certified toxicologist at the U.S.
Department of Energy, Office of Health and Environmental
Research. He manages research on the possible health effects
of energy-related chemicals and serves on numerous federal
committees concerned with toxicology. His 25 year career has
included professional level positions in the pharmaceutical
industry, the Environmental Protection Agency, the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the
Department of Energy. He has served on numerous national and
international expert committees and activities. Aside for
this government employment, Jim also offers private
consulting services in toxicology and has served as an
expert for several commercial organizations. Jim received
his B.S. in Natural Science from Oklahoma State University,
and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of
Oklahoma where he studied human physiology and biochemistry.
